PROMINENCE Obesity OER Launch Webinar:
A Global Milestone
On 24 March 2026, the PROMINENCE Obesity Open Education Resource (OER) launch webinar marked an important milestone for the project, officially introducing its OER to physiotherapy educators and learners worldwide. The event formed a key part of the project's dissemination efforts, aimed at ensuring the resource reaches the widest possible audience across the physiotherapy education community.

The wait is over! Registration is officially open for the live launch of the PROMINENCE Obesity Open Education Resource (OER) for physiotherapy.

PROMINENCE at ENPHE Forum 2025
At the ENPHE Forum 2025, held 19‑20 September in Differdange (LUNEX University of Applied Sciences), Luxembourg, PROMINENCE Coordinator, Caitriona Cunningham of UCD, gathered physiotherapy educators from the European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education network for a workshop on Obesity Education in Physiotherapy.

PROMINENCE at European Congress on Obesity in Málaga, Spain
The PROMINENCE consortium partners proudly participated in the 32nd European Congress on Obesity (ECO 2025), held in Málaga, Spain, which brought together over 4,000 participants from across Europe and beyond. As one of the leading scientific events dedicated to obesity research and treatment, ECO 2025 provided a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and networking.

PROMINENCE at the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists 2025 Conference
PROMINENCE representatives from University College Dublin and the Europe Region of World Physiotherapy attended the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) 2025 Conference on 5 April 2025 in Dublin, Ireland, where they presented an overview of the PROMINENCE project (poster presentation).
