Second PROMINENCE Transnational Meeting

Partners of the EU-funded PROMINENCE project gathered in Helsinki, Finland, for a productive transnational meeting hosted by Arcada University of Applied Sciences with Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) close collaboration in its planning.

Held on 9 - 10 April 2025, the meeting brought together representatives from six partner organisations across four countries to review progress, share updates, and plan the subsequent phases of the project.

Key discussions focused on the Physiotherapy in Obesity Competency Framework and planning division of tasks for the upcoming Open Educational Resource (OER) output. Partners also explored dissemination opportunities through publications, conferences, and ongoing project communications. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration and ensure alignment across all work packages, reinforcing the project’s commitment to transnational cooperation and innovation in obesity education for entry-level physiotherapy.

The consortium will continue its collaboration online as work progresses.
