Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK, Tampereen Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy) is a multidisciplinary, international higher education institution located in the Tampere Region in Finland. TAMK has approximately 10,000 undergraduate students and 600 staff members. TAMK’s research and development portfolio includes successful local, regional, national, and international projects executed in collaboration with public and third sector organisations as well as with companies. TAMK degree programme of Physiotherapy The degree is a bachelor-level professional higher education degree. The degree gives eligibility for master’s degrees. The degree complies with the criteria set by the Finnish national degree system as well as with the European framework for degrees and other competences. Physiotherapists have the skills needed for execute tasks in promoting health, functional ability and wellbeing of individuals and groups. Physiotherapy is evidence-based and physiotherapists work within legislation and the profession’s ethical principles.
