The PROMINENCE project was honoured with the Best Poster Award at the Winter Symposium Obesity 2025 hosted by the Belgian Association for the Study of Obesity (BASO) and the Belgian Section of Obesity and Metabolic Surgery (BeSOMS), celebrating 30 years of obesity treatment on 07-08 February 2025 at the Zeepreventorium Rehabilitation Centre in De Haan, Belgium. 

Dr Kenneth Verboven, from Hasselt University, Belgium, presented  the winning PROMINENCE project poster.

This accolade underscores the importance of our Erasmus funded work which will see the development of an Obesity Competency Framework and Open Education Resource  for Physiotherapists.
